Thursday Thirteen: My favorite celebrity bridesmaids moments.

My first Thursday Thirteen. Thought I’d share this embarrassing secret: I love hearing celebrity news. My favorite celebrity bridesmaid moments:

1. Playmate Holly Madison is campaigning for the role for fellow playmate Kendra Wilkonson. People magazine reports Madison told Willkonson “she’d better be a bridesmaid” when the bunny marriesPhiladelphia Eagles receiver Hank Baskett.

2. Pop princess Amanda Bynes let her sister be the star for a day when she was her bridesmaid in July, 2008.

3. Jessica Biel backed up former “7th Heaven” co-star ~~Amanda~~ Beverly Mitchell (Thanks to Malcolm at the Pop Culture Dish for catching my late-night mistake) as a bridesmaid last month when Mitchell married Michael Cameron in Italy. Biel’s beau, Justin Timberlake, attended the ceremony.

4. Jamie Lynn Spears wore a burgundy Monique Lhuillier dress when she was maid of honor at older sister’s Brittany’s wedding to K-fed.

5. If I’m including the Spears sisters, I have to include the Simpson’s. Ashlee Simpson wore Vera Wang when big sis Jessica married Nick Lachey.

6. Jennifer Garner walked down the aisle as a bridesmaid for her personal assistant in 2006.

7. Rachel Bilson of “The OC” fame not only backed up best gal pal Jill Stonerick, but also designed her dresses for her. See pic below.

8. Actress Kate Bosworth took time out from promoting the film “21″ last spring to be a bridesmaid for an old friend in Sydney.

9. American Idol contestant Brooke White couldn’t walk down the aisle at her sister’s wedding because of AI competition. Her replacement? A life size cardboard cutout.

10. Katherine Heigl, star of the bridesmaid flick “27 Dresses” also played the role in real life at her sister’s wedding.

11. Cameron Diaz stood up for a friend when her friend wed in France in 2006. And, her hair also did it’s part by standing on edge. What was she thinking?

12. Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen served as bridesmaids when a friend wed in Mexico.

13. Barbara Bush was maid of honor when twin sister, Jenna, wed at the family’s infamous Crawfordsville ranch last May. I wonder if W. took a three month vacation for the festivities. He is known for loving vacations.
