I’m seeing green… green bridesmaids dresses that is.

Published by kristineb at 1:45 am under Uncategorized Edit This

I previously posted that bride no. 3, my sister Kim, rethought the black bridesmaids dresses idea. She’s thinking something like the sage green color above. The picture isn’t great, and makes the color look a little too shiny, so this is just for a general idea. I like it and am becoming used to the idea of not having a black dress.

A comment from Daisy Bookworm also made me push less for black dresses. Daisy pointed out that in 20 years, the whole black bridesmaids dress trend right now might be looked at as a “why’d we do that?” moment. Or maybe the little black bridesmaids dress will be as classic as the little black dress. Only time will tell.

Were your bridesmaids dresses trendy? Is there any way to avoid a “what was I think moment” with the test of time

Thanks for the input everyone. Gives me much to think about. Especially after Christine’s experience. Definitely going to talk the sis into trying some dresses of a similar color on soon to see how it looks. And, from Duni’s suggestion, I’m going to take photos as well.
